A Novel Methodology to Enhance the Smooth Running of the PM BLDC Motor Drive Using PWM-PWM Logic and Advance Angle Method

This paper addresses the active torque ripple compensation of a permanent magnet brushless direct-current motor (PMBLDC) drive with new pulse width modulation (PWM) technique and advance angle method. Torque is well-known problem in BLDC motors which produced by discrepancy between stator current back electromotive force (back-emf) waveforms. The advanced method proposed this generates maximum PM decreasing displacement phase voltage proportion to load. Further, simple comprehensive PWM-PWM logic reduce ripples. test results show that achieves good steady-state performance while maintaining quick dynamic response. method, have been tested compared practical for characteristics DC bus voltage, current, electromagnetic torque, shaft mechanical PWM signal.
